PLAN OF SALVATION
God's Plan of Salvation
Here are four simple steps, which have become known as the four spiritual laws, to help you understand God’s marvelous plan of salvation.
1. God loves you! He has a wonderful plan for your life.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
2. Man is sinful and therefore, separated from God. In this sinful state, we can not fully know and experience God's love and understand God's plan for our lives.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
3. God has provided a solution to our sin-problem. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
4. Man can receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and experience new life in Christ.
“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
So, now that you know the plan … what will be your response? If you desire to receive this free gift of salvation, pray this prayer:
Father, thank you for making me. Thank you for having a plan and purpose for my life. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for my sins and God raised Him from the dead. Now, please come into my heart, fill me with your spirit, live in me and through me. Thank you for hearing me. In Jesus’ name I pray and give you praise. Amen.
